GALLERGRY is an online platform to promote contemporary fine art and is an initiative of artist Gryanne Stunnenberg.
Here you’ll find what she would have added to her collection if this was within her power.
Here you’ll find what she would have loved to show in her gallery if she would have had one.
GALLERGRY is happy to give collectors ideas and to promote artists that she would like to see supported.
In addition GALLERGRY organizes the offline event ‘Libertà‘ in Venice (Italy) on 24/25/26 May 2019.
Gryanne Stunnenberg (artist/lecturer/curator) studied pedagogy before receiving the degree Bachelor of Fine Art. Henk Peeters advised her as artist to always stay financially independent of the works you create, so that you are free to follow your own artistic research and development. Following that advise she works as an artist and as an Independent Education Professional, which led her in the direction of art and architecture education. As developer, organizer and provider of workshops, curricula and guided tours she has collaborated with TETEM Kunstruimte (Enschede, the Netherlands), Global Art Affairs Foundation (Venice, Italy) and Fondazione La Biennale di Venezia (Venice, Italy).
In these roles she encountered diverse situations and people. Examples of her work as Independent Education Professional are: developer of the educational program for high schools as part of the exhibition ‘In het hart van de Renaissance’ in Rijksmuseum Twenthe (Enschede, the Netherlands), researcher for the set-up of the European Cultural Academy in Venice, Italy and guide to many different people (including VIPs and Royalty) in several languages for the International Architecture Exhibition and the International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia. In 2019 she is lecturer at the European Cultural Academy in Venice as expert to the 58th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, lecturer at Archivio Luigi Pericle inside the exhibition ‘Beyond the visible’ in Querini Stampalia Venezia, curator of the international art exhibition ‘Libertà’ spread out over several locations in Venice and initiator of the art reflection workshop ‘May you reflect on interesting times’ inside the Biennale venues Giardini and Arsenale.
As artist she performed at the 57th International Art Exhibiton of La Biennale di Venezia, in collaboration with Dawn Kasper. The works of Stunnenberg are regularly on display.
